The Rede Inglesa, an enterprise which teaches English as a second language for the countries that don't have English as the native tongue, releases a special series on the history of Lampião and Maria Bonita - translated as "Big Lamp and Beautiful Mary".

It will be showed from this first episode 1 or Chapter one. And it will be presented what in fact happened to them when they were in a group of outlaws that acted in the interior and the hinterland in the Northeast of Brazil. The gang was under the leadership of a man who was known as "Lampião or Big Lamp" but his real name was Virgulino Ferreira and hers was Maria Dea.

The Rede Inglesa hopes, through this initiative, to make clear one of the histories that maybe few people know what in fact happened.

Therefore, we will launch the English classes for those who are decided to learn this language, through grammar focus linked to each episode. Thus, we welcome you to the awsome world of Big Lamp and Beautiful Mary - The true history.
